Close to Chinese Family, Close to Chinese Culture

------Visiting Local Family of “2009 CTBU Study & Cuture Tour”

  On the schedule of 2009 CTBU Study and Culture Tour, May 23rd was the day when the international professors and students were invited to visit local Chongqing family. A short ceremony was held in the morning. As hosting families, Vice President Huang Lang and Huang Dayong, together with other families met their guests at the Distance Learning Center.

   On behalf of all the hosting families, Vice President Huang Lang delivered a welcome speech. He sincerely hoped that all the foreign guests could enjoy Chongqing people’s hospitality and local culture.

   All the hosting families were volunteers for this activity. They had arranged many interesting activities for the foreign friends, such as teaching them making dumplings, taking them to a Chinese wedding, countryside visits, and so on, which brought a lot of happiness and surprise to the guests.

   All participants had a great time with the hosting families. It is a great chance for the international professors and students to know more about Chinese culture and to deepen the friendship with Chongqing people.
